The Destroyer is Forum’s best selling model and sums up their brand philosophy in a single board. Aimed at hard charging freestyle riders who are looking for a high performance twin tip, it is equally at home in the pipe as it is in the park. However don’t think that the Destroyer is just limited to man made terrain, thanks to the top end construction it doesn’t hold back when hammering all over the mountain. Its construction is based around Forum’s advanced Super Gnar LE wood core. Vertically laminated with poplar and dark aspen hardwood, a directional grain belt flips the grain direction to radiate out. This gives improved energy transfer and creates a stiffer torsional flex along the edge of the board improving edge hold, giving the board a more solid ride. Operating in harmony with the core, Forum form their structural layers from tri-ax glass, placing fibres at 90º and then intersecting it at 45º and 45º. This combination gives a torsionally reactive feel without being overly aggressive, perfect for freestylers that want to push new tricks. To top off the Destroyer, it comes with a fast and tough sintered base.
